Google+ is a new social media network introduced by Google a few weeks ago. I’m surprised at how well received it’s been in just about every online community I follow. iPhone users will be happy to know you can now download the official iPhone app for Google+ from the App Store.Features include the ability to view and use Circles, Streams, and Huddles. The iTunes description of Google+ says,
Google+ for mobile makes sharing the right things with the right people a lot simpler. Huddle lets you send super-fast messages to the people you care about most. And no matter where you are, the stream lets you stay in the loop about what your friends are sharing and where they’re checking in.
* Circles let you share the right things with just the right people.
* Stream is where you can get updates from your circles or see what people are saying about things nearby.
* Huddle is super-fast group messaging for everyone in your circles.
Personally I haven’t done much with my Google+ account but I do have one. I’m usually late to check out new social networks and I’m more than happy with my experience on Twitter. If Google+ starts to catch on like wildfire maybe I’ll jump in there and see what the hype is all about.
