OMG. I Can Meditate! is an Android app which aims at bringing mindfulness to you and/or your family, in just 10 minutes on the clock!
How about that folks? It sounds incredible, I know, I mean, sometimes my mind feels like it’s flooded with thoughts every second, I have lots of things to do, never enough time, everything feels like an emotional roller-coaster, I get depressed, stressed out, you know what I’m talking about, right?
But now, these guys and gals from PEGI 3 (the website is www.omgmeditate.com ) claim that I can improve my focus and free my mind using their Android app…it sounds too good to be true, right?
Well, to be perfectly honest, this app is more than good, it’s absolutely awesome, because it really works.
And that’s not just my opinion. For example, this application is used by airlines like Delta and Air Canada for their in flight meditation programs and there are also tons of positive reviews in the mainstream media, such as People Magazine or InStyle.
But how does it work, you may ask? Well, it works by making meditation easy-peasy for everyone in just ten minutes, while being friendly and not intimidating at all. You don’t have to be a guru or having tried meditation before. All you have to do is to download and install the app and follow the instructions.
Basically, it’s like you’re having your own-virtual-mediation specialist at a flick of a switch, in the palm of your hand. Lynne, that is, a meditation coach with the most soothing voice in the world.
You’ll be voice-guided through “the meditation program”, while soft/calming music is playing in the background. It’s very similar to that thing at the end of a Yoga practice, savasana or whatchamacallit.
However, it works and it’s absolutely wonderful; there are even special meditation programs for morning and night, also for pregnancy, stress or anxiety.
It takes a little time to get used to it, but if you’re looking for natural ways for stress reduction and cultivating mindfulness, I highly recommend you this app!
