The One M9 was unveiled during Mobile World Congress in Barcelona last week. HTC said the phone will be available soon, but didn’t provide any information on pricing or a specific release date. That’s all changing now thanks to B&H, a retailer that spilled the beans a bit early.
The company’s website says the One M9 will be available beginning at midnight on March 25 for $649. That’s for an unlocked variant, so you’ll be paying a bit less if you decide to grab it on a carrier with a two-year subsidy. This also could just be an indication of when B&H expects to sell it, and it could arrive on U.S. carriers such as AT&T, Sprint, Verizon and T-Mobile earlier or later, depending on agreements with HTC.
We expect the One M9 price to fall in line with last year’s model with a two-year subsidy, so expect to pay around $199 with a new contract. We’ll let you know as carriers announce individual launch dates.
