As promised last week, OnePlus on Monday introduced a new update (CyanogenMod 11S release, 05Q) that focuses on improving the current software experience. No, this isn’t an update to Lollipop just yet, but it does lay the groundwork by tightening things up. A little nip here, tuck there, and soon you’ll have the goodness of Android 5.0.
But it’s not just bug fixes and enhancements; users also get SwiftKey integration from the get-go thanks to a new partnership. You can still opt to use any keyboard you want, of course, but having the option built-in will encourage users to take advantage of one of the more convenient typing experiences.
In addition, the update also includes some improvements to the camera experience, particularly for video.
Auto focus: lets you focus before the recording begins
Continuous focus: allows the video to automatically refocus during recording
Infinity focus: makes everything in the background just as clear as everything in the foreground without any focusing changes
