The OnePlus One was arguably one of the best smartphones you could buy last year, especially for its price. It ran CyanogenMod as its OS which which many of you will know is very fully featured and actually surpasses the official stock Android for features. However late last year Cyanogen the company who licences CyanogenMod the OS, signed what they claimed was an exclusive deal with Micromax another phone maker which Cyanogen said supersedes all other agreements.
Naturally enough this ended the love affair between OnePlus and Cyanogen. Since then OnePlus have been working on their own custom built ROM which now has a name, OxygenOS.
Nothing more is known right now but the new OS will be shown off on Feb 12th so stay tuned for more info as we get it.
