After the launch of the OnePlus Two, the company hinted at another device that was in the pipeline. Well it seems that that device will soon be here as OnePlus has sent out a Tweet that states that they will be unveiling something on October 29 in London.
Given the big X on the teaser image, you’d have to think that the company will be unveiling the OnePlus X at the event which has been steadily leaked over the past few weeks. The device landed on Tenaa recently, China’s regulatory agency, so we have a pretty good idea of what the phone will pack. Expected specs for the device include a 5″ 1080p display, Snapdragon 801 proccessor, 3GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable storage, 13MP camera, 8MP front facing camera and 2450 mAh battery. The device is expected to carry a lighter price tag than the OnePlus Two which should make this phone pretty easy on the wallet.
In terms of design, the device is very different than the OnePlus One and OnePlus Two. In fact, it reminds me quite a bit of the iPhone 4 and 4S with the two glass panels and metal frame. I’m actually pretty curious to see the final product since it’s such a departure from their first two devices.
