Yesterday a new OPPO device with the model number X9007 was listed on Antutu. While the Find 7 that was launched in 2014 also came with the same model, we expected it to be a new variant of it. But few other websites suggested the device to be called as Find 9a which might be a lite variant of upcoming Find 9. Today the device was leaked in press renders where we can find the bezel-less display with a small logo placed in between display and earpiece.
The battery on this device is mentioned to get fully charge in just 15 minutes. At MWC 2016, OPPO unveiled the new “Super VOOC Flash Charge” technology that can charge a 2,500mAh battery from 0% to 100% in just 15 minutes. Now, we guess the Find 9 to come with a 2,500mAh battery capacity since it is also mentioned to be fully charged in 15 minutes. Along with the device, the company also provides the 5V adapter that uses low voltage pulse charging algorithm.
It ensures the device stay at low temperature even during fast charging. The battery on the Find 9 will be customized along with the connector, USB cable that will be built out of military grade materials. We also expect the device to feature “SmartSensor Image Stabilization” which was announced alongside the Super VOOC Flash Charge technology. The company mentioned it as the first ever sensor based pixel-level optical image stabilization.
The SmartSensor decreases the power consumption by 50 times when compared to the lens-based sensor that is used in most of the smartphones. From the images, we can find the device to feature home button that might also feature a fingerprint sensor. There are back-lit capacitive buttons on either side of physical home buttton. The bottom place notification on Find 7 might also feature on Find 9. Take all these rumors with a pinch of salt and stay tuned for official details.
