We just reported Oppo’s official invitation for the N1 Mini a while ago and now more details of the handset have emerged. Images have leaked online showing photographs and renders of the handset in more colours than the original Oppo N1 phablet, which was available only in White and Dark Blue.
The images show the Oppo N1 Mini in all its glory not forgetting that swivelling camera unit, which now comes with one LED flash instead of the two that came with the previous N1. The renders show that the handset comes in Pink, Yellow, Blue and a White version which seems to have a Gold coloured border.
Thanks to the photographs (which leaked from a Weibo account) we can now say that Oppo has given the same design treatment that came with the N1. The front panel clearly seems to be made of glass while the back seems to be made of the same soft touch material that we found on the earlier N1. Moreover, the handset also sports the metal borders similar to the N1 phablet as well. What is interesting to note is the White version, which comes with a premium looking Gold border instead of the standard chrome finish on the rest of the coloured variants.
The N1 Mini is rumoured to come with a 5 inch display which we guess would be of 1280 x 720 resolution. The handset is also rumoured to come with either a MediaTek MT6592 or an Exynos 5422 Octa SoC which are pretty capable octa-core processors built for mid-range devices. Also Oppo is said to release the N1 Mini with both LTE and 3G radios simultaneously.
