DONGGUAN, China – Handset manufacturer Oppo has officially announced the Mini version of its over-sized handset Oppo N1, the Oppo N1 Mini. Here the company has reduced the size of the gadget by one inch, bringing its display to 5” from 6″.
The Oppo N1 Mini hosts a 5-inch multi-touch display with 1280×720 pixel resolution and 294 ppi density, and an octa-core MediaTek processor. At its back lies a 13MP swivel camera with LED Flash and camcorder. The device comes with 1GB of RAM and microSD support for expandable storage.
The handset is assumed to be running the latest version of Android 4.4 KitKat with a skinned ColorOS 1.4. It comes with a battery capacity of 2140mAh, and is extremely lightweight, putting up just 150 grams on the hands.
A formal unveiling event for the Oppo N1 Mini is scheduled for this week.
