The render posted on the leaking also shows how the phone will look like. Like the OPPO F9 Pro, the OPPO R17 will have a very small notch, and a glass back with gradient colors. It will have a 6.4-inch Full HD+ 19:9 ratio with 91.5% screen-to-body ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. It will be powered by the 10nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 SoC.
Interestingly, it will have an in-display fingerprint sensor that can unlock the phone in 0.41 seconds. The R17 will be powered by a 3,500mAh battery with VOOC fast charging. A cheaper variant is also expected to arrive with a back-mounted fingerprint sensor.

The OPPO R17 will be available in Twilight Blue and Starry Purple colors with gradients. The higher-end OPPO R17 Pro is also being teased by the company, and it’s rumored to have triple rear cameras. According to the listing, the R17 will be available for order from August 18, so it’s probable to expect an announcement next week.
