South Korean electronic giant, LG, announced on the availability of its 3D smartphone tagged as Optimus 3D in the UK via wireless carrier Orange UK. Even though, its a bit late for the carrier, we always say, “better late than never”. The carrier flashed the LG Optimus 3D as “Coming Soon” on its webpage.
To spice things a bit, the smartphone is being voiced on being available for free on choosing a specific plan. Moreover, the LG Optimus 3D is stated to receive the highly-anticipated Android 2.3 Gingerbread update sometime in October but who knows, Orange UK might be the first one to feature the smartphone powered with the latest operating system.
The LG Optimus 3D comes powered with a fast dual-core and dual channel ARM Cortex A9 processor clocked at 1GHz and a Power VR SGX540 GPU, becoming one of the fastest Android-based smartphone available on the market. The Optimus 3D packs in a 512 MB RAM and 8GB of internal memory as well as a microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 32 GB.
Moreover, the phone features a 4.3-inch 3D LCD touchscreen with 16 million and 480 x 800 pixels resolution, making it one of the most attracted feature in the smartphone.
