Pretty soon after its release in the states, the HTC One M9 began receiving an OTA update that was said to greatly improve the camera software on the device. Well that update has now began hitting Canadian devices according to a recent tweet.
According to Ryan Caldwell of HTC, the update began rolling out this morning to Rogers customers. There wasn’t any word of other carriers getting the update but you’d have to imagine that this OTA will hit other carriers any time now.
I have seen some comparison shots pre and post update around the web and there is definitely a noticeable difference in quality so if you’re quite the smart phone shutter bug, you’ll want to get in on the update asap.
