The recently spotted in South Korea pink Samsung Galaxy S III has now been made official. However, it’s a South Korea-only thing for now.
Samsung has also boasted that it’s managed to sell over 3 million Galaxy S III units in its home market alone. That’s a pretty impressive feat in a country with 50 million inhabitants.
The pink Galaxy S III will come with 32 GB of storage. It will be available tomorrow, on September 26. Of course Samsung is aiming it at the younger crowd as well as women – that’s always the case with pink gadgets, for some reason.
The pink superphone will be available on all of Korea’s three operators, but only 100,000 units will be produced. Maybe the company is hoping for some Apple-style lines outside the stores tomorrow. We’ll see how that pans out.
