Sporting what looks to be a curved glass display, the possible Atrix 2 is said to feature a 720p HD screen and an 8-megapixel shooter
Images of a handset that looks a lot like a refined, upgraded version of the Motorola Atrix 4G have surfaced on Asian technology site ePrice.tw The photographs, which appear in a massive gallery, make us believe that AT&T is getting ready to introduce a new version of the Atrix 4G sometime soon.
The unnamed handset, which again looks a lot like the original Atrix, appears to have a curved glass display and an 8-megapixel camera with 1080p video recording. The blog tha leaked the photos is also claiming the device will have a full 720p HD screen, something I have really wanted for quite a while.
As you can see, the AT&T logo also relocated to the top of the phone, above the display, and the Motorola logo took up residence on the back where AT&T’s stamp used to be. The earpiece has also undergone a makeover, and there now seems to be a dedicated hardware camera key.
Besides these small tidbits, however, everything else about the device really remains a mystery. No word on processor or anything of the sort. Obviously, no word from AT&T or Motorola yet either.
Of course, at this point, there’s really no way to tell if this handset will actually make it to the market. It might just be a prototype. All we can do is speculate really.
