Potluck for iPhone is a combination of a social network and a link sharing service. We told you about it over the summer and found it to be an intriguing concept. Potluck 2.0 has just launched and brings an entirely new design and some new features.
Now when you launch Potluck you are presented with a deck of articles that you can quickly flick through that are considered Editor's Picks. Flip away the ones you don't like (or alternatively you can tap the skip button) and tap on the ones you do like to read more. You can leave comments on articles just as you could before.
Overall, I find Potluck to be a neat concept but I've yet to find a real place for it in my daily news routine. Perhaps that's because I'm the type of person that likes to have complete control over my news feeds. That's probably why I've never taken to apps like Flipboard or Feedly either. I just tend to prefer being in control so I don't miss anything.
If you've tried Potluck, let us know what your experience has been like with it so far. Are your friends using it? Where does it fit into your news routine?
