To begin with, the smartphone has been priced at £600($1,000) in the UK directly through Sony Mobile while local retailer Clove is offering the handset for £564($942).
The Dutch pricing of the smartphone ranges between €650 and €675 ($928), which is along expected lines. German customers will be able to get the smartphone for much cheaper at €600 ($825). However, if you live in France, Italy or Spain, you’re bound to be disappointed as the smartphone will cost as much as €700 ($962).
It is speculated that the smartphone will make its way to the U.S. via T-Mobile for an estimated off contract price of $600, although there’s no confirmation of this.
The Xperia Z2 packs a 5.2 inch 1080p IPS display, a 20.7 megapixel camera, a quad core 2.3 GHz Snapdragon 801 chipset, 3GB of RAM, 16GB of storage and Android 4.4 KitKat, so it ranks up among the best smartphones in the market. It is also water and dust resistant like every other Sony flagship from the past year.
