The HTC One Max is one of the most talked about phablets after the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. But with the latter already announced, it’s the One Max which is still tinkering with our minds. And thanks to a leak coming out of Chinese social networking site Weibo, we now have information about its hardware and pricing. This leak reveals an $800 pricing with launch slated to take place in October, at least in the Chinese market.
Strangely, this variant appears to be packing the Snapdragon 600 SoC as the clock speed is only 1.7 GHz, while the Snapdragon 800 carries clock speeds of up to 2.3 GHz. We hope this is an exception made only for the Chinese market as not having S800 on the smartphone might be a deal breaker for a few. The leak confirms the 5.9 inch 1080p resolution display, 16GB of internal storage (with a microSD card slot), 2GB of RAM, Android 4.3 and a 3,300 mAh battery. There is also going to be a 4MP Ultrapixel camera on board, much like the HTC One and the One Mini.
