Samsung is now officially listing a purple version of its Galaxy Mega 6.3. While this happens only at the company’s Honk Kong website, the purple Mega 6.3 will probably appear in other markets pretty soon, too.
As you’d expect, the purple Galaxy Mega 6.3 has the same features that can be found on the white and black models, including: 6.3 inch SC-LCD display with 1280 x 720 pixels, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, LTE, 8MP rear camera with LED flash, 1.9MP front-facing camera, dual-core 1.7GHz Snapdragon 400 processor, 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB / 16GB of internal memory, and a 3,200 mAh battery.
The Mega 6.3 will likely be among Samsung’s handsets that will be updated to Android 4.4 KitKat at some point.
AT&T is selling the Mega 6.3 in the US – but only in black, and we don’t know if it indents to offer the purple version. Sprint and US Cellular will have the device, too, sometime in the near future.
The smaller Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8 is also supposed to be released in purple, but we haven’t seen this version anywhere just yet.
