Qualcomm has leaped ahead of Apple with a more feature-packed 64-bit mobile chip. There's just one problem - Qualcomm's Snapdragon 615 chip is toonew to have been deployed in any smartphones or tablets yet.
The eight-core Snapdragon 615 chip, announced at the Mobile World Congress, is designed for mobile devices and sports integrated LTE and 4K video rendering capabilities.
Qualcomm expects the Snapdragon 615 to start appearing in high-end smartphones and tablets in the fourth quarter.
