Thanks to iOS 8s improved permissibility to third-party apps, photo management outside Apples Photos app have been opened up to greater possibilities. Take the newly released Screeny, for example.
Simply put, Screeny is a utility app that helps you quickly and easily delete old or unwanted screenshots from your devices camera roll. Its focused on photo deletion, like the Tinder-likeFlic, but its focused further on screenshots only. Think of it as Screenshot Journal or Screenshotter for deleting screenshots.
Screeny works by first scanning your photo library for screenshots and indicating how much precious space theyre taking up.
The app then lets you tap the screenshots that you want to be gone for good. Alternatively, it lets you select all screenshots except ones from the last 15 days, select all except ones from the last 30 days, or select all screenshots, period.
As a bonus feature, Screeny also shows if there are any photos in your camera roll that are older than three months, along with their storage size, so that you can be advised to back them up and delete them to free up more space.
