Google’s Play Store is home to many, many applications. We scour the Play Store on a daily basis in order to find new apps to share with you, and as per usual, we’ve managed to stumble upon yet another relatively new app to talk to you about. Now, if you like reading, and especially reading on your smartphone, this application might interest you. The app in question is called ‘Radish – Fiction Serials’, and this is essentially an interactive bookshelf you can take with you wherever you go, read on.
Now, according to the company, Radish gives you early access to the latest web fictions serials out there, and the company also claims that top writers contribute to the app. You can check out the latest chapter for a one-time in-app payment, or simply wait a week after it is released in order to read it for free, the choice is yours, though the premium (paid only) content is also available. Do keep in mind that Radish is available for both Android and iOS and has been downloaded somewhere between 50,000 and 100,000 times on Android thus far. Users seem to be having some issues with the app lately, but it seems like the latest update is to blame as it is kind of buggy. In any case, latest reviews definitely reflected the app’s rating in the Play Store, but we’ve tried out Radish, and it actually functioned fine during our short testing, as this is not an app review, but more of a preview of sorts.
Now, the design of this app is definitely eye pleasing, the company combines Red, Black and White color variants in order to put focus on the content at hand, and they’re doing a pretty good job at that. There are tons of genres you can choose from on Radish, from Romance, Fantasy and Mystery, all the way to Sci-Fi and Paranormal stories. This app also comes with a built-in search functionality, which allows you not only to search for a specific story, but also search for a specific author through Radish’s database. That is pretty much it, though we did include the company’s promo video down below, as well as a gallery with a couple of official images for you to check out.
