XSEED has announced it's bringing two more niche Japanese titles to handhelds in the US. The publisher will be releasing both Ragnarok Odyssey and Orgarhythm to North America. Both Vita games are slated for a 2012 release.
XSEED will handle the localization for both games. Ragnarok Odyssey is an action game with some Monster Hunter DNA and Norse Mythology, from Game Arts--the studio behind the Lunar and Grandia franchise. It received a Famitsu Gold award in its native Japan.
Orgarhythm is a music-strategy hybrid from Acquire, headed up by Shenmue's lead programmer.
This announcement comes hot on the heels of XSEED canceling its plans to bring the PSP game Grand Knights History to the US. It promised to share more of its 2012 line-up in the coming weeks, and these two additions might mend a few broken hearts that were looking forward to Vanillaware's latest.
