I’m ready to stop calling it the “next-gen” if you are, friends. It’s the current generation. The Xbox One and PlayStation 4 have been out for several months now. The Wii U, which I’ll assert is part of this gaming generation, has been out for more than a year.
Next-gen is the one we’ll see like eight years from now.
Nevertheless, Ubisoft has released what it has dubbed the “next-gen” launch trailer for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of Rayman Legends. This follow-up to the gorgeous and simply delightful Rayman Origins was a solid outing last year, though I’m not sure I’d give it the “Best Platformer” nod that this trailer says it owns.
Legends is a large title with a whole lot of content, including several remastered versions of the levels found in Origins. If you missed out on the title in 2013 and you own a PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, I can definitely give this a heartfelt recommendation.
The extra good news? It’s selling for $39.99. That’s a sweet deal for folks who need something to play on their new machines.
