A red version of Nokia’s unannounced Lumia 1520 has appeared today in a press render, confirming Nokia’s intentions to release the device in multiple color editions – as it had done with most of its Lumia products.
The Nokia Lumia 929 – believed to be Verizon’s customized version of the 1520 – has also appeared in black and white recently.
The Lumia 1520 will be Nokia’s first phablet, sporting a large 6 inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) display. Other features should include Windows Phone 8 GDR 3, a quad-core Qualcomm processor, LTE connectivity, and a 20MP PureView rear camera. In the US, the 1520 will be released by AT&T, apparently starting November.
Both the Lumia 1520 and Lumia 929 will be almost certainly announced by Nokia on October 22. In addition, the company should also unveil its first Windows RT tablet (the Lumia 2520), as well as other handsets, like the Lumia 525. New Asha phones are expected as well – including the Asha 500, Asha 502, and Asha 503.
