I’m not shy when it comes to quality. Nor will I usually avoid a game just because it appears to be geared to a specific demographic, sex or etc. Sure I originally assumed Yippee Entertainment’s new Chimpact game was exactly a game made for small children. And I’ll bet many users will make that same mistake. Don’t get me wrong though kids will love it. Moreover adults will enjoy the sky high gameplay and welcome some hardy challenges as well.
• Simple, one-touch gameplay
• Three stunningly lush worlds with 12 levels each
• Two complete game modes to beat: Gem Quest and Totem Trail
• Three chimps to unlock
• Over 150 challenge medallions to earn
Chimpact jumps off in the Gem Quest game mode. The goal is to advance toward the sky using canopies while collecting bananas, gems like diamonds, medallions etc. All the while avoiding or attacking creatures like spiders, lady bugs and more. You’ll open new monkeys as move throughout the levels.
Bananas work like cash. Stocking up means you’ll have access to purchase unique abilities that will make things easier as you move through the game.
Totem Trail is the real challenge though. This game mode is filled with all kinds of wonders. In this mode you’ll stumbled upon challenges like; Vicious Vines, Sting In A Trail, Pod Popping, Ugly Fruit and many more. But take your time because some were not meant to be breezed through. Earn medallions to gain newer challenges.
The final game mode is Quick Play. This mode will give users quick access to various challenges with a time limit. For example: the “Sting In A Trail” challenge will give you 40 seconds to get your monkey home without being stung. The bees will be waiting for you the moment you begin. So you better start bouncing!
The Chimpact game and all it’s wonders has really surprised me. The first day I actually started playing it I couldn’t stop gooing over the gorgeous visuals, framerate and precision gameplay. I’d say this game ranks up there with the best of the best. For everything it comes with Chimpact truly feels like it was built to enjoy a larger reality, like that of the PlayBook. Few users will pass on this game once they get their stingers in it. Chimpact will set you back just $2.99 in BlackBerry App World. Grab yours below.
