Today we are talking about Stretch the puzzle game for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. For a start I will try to answer the question – why is this game worth trying?
Because it is a fresh idea in the puzzle category and because it hitches up with its design. Let’s go?
Click-click: Stretch the puzzle is a game with which you can plod away for a few hours or days rather than a few minutes, so you’d better warn your friends and family before playing!
This game uses all sorts of nice pictures of animals and not only, randomizes them and offers to put everything in its proper places, every time giving a new configuration of cutting.
The promised freshness of the idea is, in fact, that a picture part stretches (according to the name of the game) or shrinks. And what you need to do is to solve the puzzle, but not to peer into outlines of the pieces. A real catch.
“And then once again”! The game has many pictures. Very many. Around a dozen of all sorts of packs divided into such topics as cats, dogs, cars, trees and so on. Each pack in its turn has sixteen puzzles. First two-three puzzles take only a couple of minutes, later – more, the complexity is growing.
Imagine that it takes you about five or six minutes to do each of ten pictures. Then you will think:”Oh, great, I’ve done it!” and go to next pack. That’s how not so that you’d notice and with a great fun six, ten or twelve hours fly by. And then you click on the same picture – and it is cut in another way!!!
Interface: Very nice. To page the menu and to read credits is somehow an unusual fun. The sounds altogether do not bore, neither does the music. You can turn on and off the net show that cuts the picture.
After the mosaic is done you will be shown how many moves and how much time it took you.
And on the whole such a game should not be missed, if you are at least a bit interested in iPhone or iPad games.
