If youre looking for an iPhone 6 case that stands out from the crowd, Urban Armor Gear has a great option with its Composite Case line for Apples newest handsets.
Available in a number of color choices, including black, white, clear, orange, and red, my favorite feature of the case is its lightweight construction. Even though it featurestwo different layers a hard outer shell and softer core its really a joy to hold and feels great in my hand. It barely adds any additional weight or bulk to the already large iPhone 6.
The armor shell on the rear of the case is highlighted with an intricate and sporty design. I tried out the orange version, and it is definitely unique. Even so, the futuristic styling might not be for everyone, and isnt exactly gender neutral.
I also like the extra-added protection that UAG provides on the corners and the top and bottom of the case spots particularly vulnerable to damage in a drop or fall. UAG says the case meets military-drop test standards. And even though I didnt purposefully attempt to drop my iPhone, I definitely feel like the case could withstand a nice amount of punishment.
Along with a raised lip that helps protect the screen, UAG provides an screen protector. While some people swear by them, I personally dislike protectors with a passion, and Im glad to see that its optional.
Also, the oversized coverings protecting the power and volume buttons help make those easier to manipulate.
Lightweight and easy to hold.
Extra-added protected on the corners and top and bottom of the case.
Made with scratch-resistant material.
Users can choose whether or not to use the screen protector.
Power and volume buttons are covered.
Available in a number of different colors.
Futuristic styling and might not be for everyone.
If you are looking for a great lightweight option for your iPhone 6, the Composite Case is a great choice. While the design might not be for everyone, the dual-layer construction and extra corner protection should easily help protect the handset from everyday bumps and falls. Its highly recommended.
I didnt get to try out the iPhone 6 Plus version of the case, but I suspect its a great choice for the larger handset as well.
