Adhering to the timeline they set last month, Schlep & Fetch today announced the launch of their official iOS app. Operating as a multi-vertical, on-demand delivery service that brings you whatever you want, Schlep & Fetch is taking the next step in their mission to further revolutionize and personalize the traditional courier service: the app effectively puts “Schleppers” in the palm of your hand.
Schlep & Fetch caters to most any need you have, whether you left your credit card at a bar or you ran out of baby formula. Within 30 seconds the app will give you the cost and time estimate of your delivery and once your order is confirmed you’ll get real time updates every step of the way.
To date Bryson Strauss and Ashley Eaton, the husband and wife team behind the Schlep & Fetch platform, have successfully hauled in $1.2 million in funding from the Pasadena Angels and the Tech Coast Angels. Their team has also grown to over 100 Schleppers and fulfills about 15,000 deliveries a month in LA. In other words, it’s the perfect time for them to launch the app.
“The Schlep & Fetch iOS app modernizes the traditional courier service, making personal delivery and errand services easy and accessible to everyone. We are committed to providing the best customer service possible and the launch of Schlep & Fetch’s first mobile app is just one more way we are doing that. We built this app based on feedback from our community. We know what our customers want and are excited to continue focusing on making peoples’ lives easier,” says Strauss.
The hyper-local launch strategy allowed Strauss and the team at Schlep & Fetch to carve out a unique place in the Los Angeles culture, but now they’re ready to go beyond the city limits. Currently they’re expanding their service areas throughout Southern California, and the iOS app is a great tool to help them with this mission.
