The Speck CandyShell is one of the best iPhone 4 cases on the market, with a hard shell on the outside for protecting against drops and scratches, and with a soft inside to the phone does not get scratched up and so impacts through the hard plastic into the iPhone will be less likely to occur. The SpeckCandy Shell for the iPhone 4 will likely fit the 4S, but is built for the AT&T/GSM variant of the iPhone 4 – which is still sold by Apple – because of the slightly different ringer switch placement. A version for the iPod touch (2G, 3G, and 4G) is also available at great discounts. An iPad version is available as well.
This is my all-time favorite case for the iPhone. It’s thin and light but has great protection for all over the iPhone. The current price is definitely a steal and if you’re looking for medium-protection for your iPhone 4 or iPhone 4S, this is truly the case to get. If you’re interested we have a full review of the Speck PixelSkin HD right here. The case also comes in black, cobalt (blue), dark grey, peacock (light blue/cyan/light gray mixture), and rose (a blend of red and pink).
The Speck CandyShell Flip is basically the same, great design from the regular Speck CandyShell from the iPhone 4S/4 described above, but includes one unique feature that some users may love: the ability to be docked. The Speck CandyShell described above allows users to plug in the standard Apple USB cable into the bottom of the iPhone with no issue, but does not allow docking into the Apple iPhone 4S/4 charging dock. The CandyShell flip allows both as you can see in the image above the link.
The Beats by Dr. Dre Studio Edition is one of the best earphone offerings on the market. They are built with design in mind (actually were designed by a former Apple designer) and have fantastic bass and sound quality. I’ve been using these earphones for sometime, and they are truly fantastic for anyone who loves great design or top-notch music playback quality. Update: Brian Lam from Wirecutter is recommending earphones from the much less expensive Sennheiser, Audiotechnica, and Grado. Lam also points out the mixed reception of the Beats and links us to an in-depth review that is worth checking out.
Even though the iOS Devices are meant to be used without a stylus, some people like using styluses for extra precision and for drawing and hand-writing based applications. Just Mobile’s AluPen looks like the stylus Apple would hypothetically make (Apple won’t, we’re talking design-wise) with it’s aluminum enclosure and great feel doing use. We’ve reviewed it here for those interested. The AluPen comes in several colors including silver, black, a gun metal special edition, red, green, blue, a pink special edition, and gold. You can find all the colors here. The video directly above explains the AluPen, its uses, and shows it in use.
The above, as noted, are just our favorite iOS Devices accessories with the best discounts. There are tons of other accessories available at discounted prices though.
