If youre looking to lose weight during and after the holidays, make sure to check out the aptly named Running for Weight Loss app, which has just been updated to version 2.0.
As its name suggests, the app helps users lose weight by running. And it does so through a special interval training program incorporating a combination of walking, running, and sprinting. It also includes tips and other useful information on running, eating well, and living a healthy lifestyle.
Released in July last year, Running for Weight Loss has just received its big 2.0 update.
The update introduces a new design that, with its simple, flat and semitransparent interface elements, makes the app look and feel more at home on iOS 7 and iOS 8.

Running for Weight Loss 2.0 also offers integration with Apples Health app in iOS 8, enabling automatic syncing of weight, calories burned, and distances covered between the two apps. This is addition to Running for Weight Loss integration with Fitbit, MapMyRun, and RunKeeper.
The update also includes various improvements for iOS 8 and display optimizations for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
