The curvy foldable slate was unveiled earlier this year alongside its brother, the Sony S1 or Tablet S depending on who you talk to, with both set to make their official debuts at the German trade show.
Some more of the tablets' specs have also been leaked, pegging the Tablet P as a dual 5.5-inch screened slate weighing in at 370g, with 512Mb of RAM, 4GB of storage, 2GB SD card and 4G connectivity.
Of course, we here in the UK are still slogging by on 3G so there'll be no super-fast data connection for us.
Tablet S, meanwhile, will be significantly heavier at 600g, with 1GB of RAM and come in 16GB and 32GB models.
Both the Sony Tablet P and Sony Tablet S will also come with an Nvidia Tegra 2 processor and 0.3MP front-mounted cameras for video calling.
Whether or not these specs and names are based in actual fact or not, we'll know all the Sony S1 and S2 tablet details before the week is out; Sony's IFA press conference is scheduled for Wednesday.
