Samsung and Apple might be at odds with one another in courtrooms around the world, but that does not mean they do not have any mutually beneficial agreements to date. Samsung currently has an $11 billion order from Apple for parts, which is far higher than the near $7.8 billion that Apple spent last year for hardware from Samsung. Having said that, a Samsung official recently made it known that there is a very real possibility of an iPad mini – rumored to feature a 7.85″ display, presumably from Samsung themselves. We do know that the rumored iPad mini (let us call it that for now, shall we?) will come with a slim bezel display to make the device look larger than it actually is, and another rumor claims that AU Optronics would be the ones behind the iPad mini’s display. What do you think? Apple has, of course, remained mum on this rumor and refused to comment on the situation.
