Samsung’s Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge have been very successful in grabbing the world’s attention and have overshadowed the HTC One M9 in comparison. The company has now announced that the initial crowd response has been very positive for the Galaxy S6 as the pre-orders for the handset are said to be “pouring in”.
The company naturally failed to divulge any details on the exact number of the pre-orders, but we’re not doubting the company’s claims. The revelation was made by Shin Jong-kyu who is the President of the IT & Mobile Communications Division over at Samsung Electronics.
This doesn’t come as a surprise to us, given what we’ve heard around the internet over the past couple of days. However, it’s still too early to tell if this early response will translate into actual sales as we’ve seen the crowd to lose interest in a device very soon.
The Samsung flagships are expected to be available in 20 countries starting April 10 and will also be available in more regions over the coming weeks.
