Yes, the long-awaited arrival of the first LTE-Advanced device is finally here gang. Samsung has formally introduced the LTE-A variant of its Galaxy S 4 smartphone and promises to bring an unmatched smartphone experience to users. The Korean giant certainly couldn’t wait to express its excitement of the device as it mentions the LTE-A technology would bring twice-as-fast network speeds, making room for the device to produce an unparalleled multimedia experience.
There’s more to the new Galaxy S 4 smartphone than just the faster LTE radio as well. Complimenting the higher network speeds are of course, a faster processor. Sammy went ahead and tossed in a sweet Snapdragon 800 series processor, pushing the total output to 2.3GHz for the quad-core chip. The hope is that the faster processor along with the faster LTE radio will give an enriched multimedia experience for users.
Unfortunately, this device seems to be a Korean exclusive as it will launch this summer in Blue Arctic and Red Aurora. Hopefully this updated toy will make its way to other markets sooner than later.
