The Samsung Galaxy S6 is expected to be very popular with the audiences. The company was believed to have significantly ramped up production of the handset to meet the demands. A new report now suggests that Samsung has further amped up production of the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge between March and April from 12 million to 13 million units.
Further, a CitiBank analyst increased the sales estimates of the Galaxy S6 from 38 million to 46 million for the entirety of 2015, which is a substantial amount. The increased sales predictions of the Galaxy S6 can be accredited to the fact that Samsung has used an all new design and made several crucial changes to the hardware which makes it one of the smartphones to watch out for this year.
However, it won’t be easy for Samsung as the competition will only get tougher as we progress towards 2015. The company will hope to put the dismal 2014 behind and look to return to profitability again with the Galaxy S6.
