NEW DELHI, India – Technology giant Samsung has announced that the Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 Dual-SIM is soon to hit the Indian markets this month.
The exact pricing of the gadget is yet not declared, but Samsung confirmed that it will be somewhere between 22,900 to 24,900 INR.
The Galaxy Grand 2 comes with a 5.25” HD display with 1280 x 720 pixels in resolution. It has a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1.5GB RAM and a soft-touch back similar to the Galaxy Note 3.
The Grand 2 comes with additional features such as dual-SIM, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS andGLONASS, a substantial 8GB of internal storage with a provision of 64GB microSD card slot. The smartphone will also sport an 8MP primary and a 1.9MP secondary camera and offers quite a substantial battery capacity of 2600mAh.
The device runs the latest flavor of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, which means that it will be compatible with the Samsung Galaxy Gear, and brings additional UI enhancements including S Translator, Story Album, Sound and Shot, Group Play, Samsung Link and Samsung Hub. Moreover, it has an India-specific Club Samsung that offers free streaming of movies and songs for the initial three months.
