The Samsung Galaxy Grand 3 has been confirmed to be in the making thanks to a new benchmark listing spotted at GFX Bench. There’s no doubt that the handset is yet another midranger, but it seems like it will be slightly better equipped as far as the hardware is concerned.
The display on the handset is revealed to be 5.5 inches in size with what appears to be a 720p resolution, which is not a surprise for a midrange device. The Galaxy Grand 3 is revealed to be packing a 13-megapixel camera on the back with a 5-megapixel front facing camera. The key feature however is the inclusion of a 64-bit Snapdragon 410 SoC with a clock speed of 1.2 GHz. There’s also 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and Android 4.4.4 KitKat rounding off the specs list.
Overall, it seems like the Galaxy Grand 3 is pretty future proof with the 64-bit chip which will be officially supported with Android 5.0 Lollipop. The smartphone should be targeted mostly towards Asian and European markets.
