SEOUL, South Korea – The Samsung Galaxy Grand Lite has been under scrutiny by the tech community through leaked documents. Now the mystery ends as Samsung makes an official announcement for the smartphone.
The Galaxy Grand Lite comes with a 5-inch display with 800×480 pixels in resolution. The smartphone packs a 1.2GHz quad-core A7 chipset and 1GB RAM. Additionally it sports a 5 megapixel primary and a VGA secondary camera.
The device has 8 GB of built-in storage with microSD support for expandable memory. There are many connectivity options available but it still lacks 4G LTE support. The handset runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and is powered by a 2100mAh battery.
The Samsung Galaxy Grand Lite has already made its appearance at a Dutch retail store with a price of €260 ($355). The retailer promises a 24-hour shipment. The smartphone will roll-out in other markets soon in coming days.
