It is not clear what exactly is new, or neo, or plus about Samsung’s latest smartphone to hit the Indian market, but the company has decided to launch yet another device in their low- to mid-range line of Galaxy Grand smartphone devices. The Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo Plus is now available for purchase in India, and given its presence on the Italian version of Samsung’s site, it may be coming to some other countries as well.
The Galaxy Grand Neo Plus is a 5-inch smartphone that comes equipped with a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal storage, and a 5 MP rear-facing camera. Users get a basic 800 x 480 resolution screen, a microSD slot to expand available memory, dual SIM slots, and the Android 4.4.4 KitKat operating system. However, it does not get support for 4G LTE networks.
The Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo Plus lists for 11,700 INR ($190 USD).
