Samsung is going to lunch a newer version of Galaxy Grand Prime soon. The original Galaxy Grand Prime was released in 2014 as a selfie centric smartphone.
The phone carries a model number SM-G532F was first spotted on Indian shipment tracking website Zuaba. Later it’s specification was found on benchmarking websites like GFXBench and Geekbench.
The phone is once again spotted on Geekbench website. Galaxy Grand Prime (2016) will feature a MediaTek MT6737T quad-core processor clocked at 1.44 GHz. Mediatek suggests that MT6737T is their most cost-effective mobile processor. The phone will have 1.5 GB of RAM, 5-inch HD display(1280 X 720 pixels), 8 MP rear and 5 MP front camera.
On connectivity front the phone will have LTE, bluetooth and WiFi. Also it is rumored to support IMS, VoLTE, VoWiFi and RCS.
Galaxy Grand Prime (2016) will be pre-installed with Android Marshmallow at the time of release.
