Recently, Samsung has launched two smartphones in the Galaxy J Series in India named as Galaxy J5 (2016) and Galaxy J7 (2016), and the pricing of the devices are Rs. 13990 and Rs. 15990 respectively. Now, The South Korean giant will be looking to another Galaxy J-series smartphone with the model number SM-J3119 passes through TENNA, called as Samsung Galaxy J3 Pro or Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017). In March 2016, The company also launched the Galaxy J3 (2016) handset that came with S Bike mode.
According to TENNA certification, the device sports a 5.0-inch Super AMOLED FHD display that offers 401 PPI of pixel density and has a Corning Gorilla Glass protection. While in the Galaxy J3 (2016) has the same screen size but came with HD resolution. Under the hood, it comes powered by 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor clocks at 1.2 GHz paired with Adreno 306 Graphics. In the Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016) shipped with the Spreadtrum chipset. It runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box.
The device supports dual SIM dual standby and offers 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, A-GPS, Micro USB 2.0, FM Radio, Bluetooth 4.1 and 3.5 mm audio jack. It has a 16 GB internal storage which will be further expandable up to 128 GB with the support of microSD card slot and 2GB RAM. On the camera section, it bears an 8-megapixel autofocus primary camera with LED flash which will record video up to 1080p and a 5-megapixel front snapper for taking selfies and video chats.
The battery capacity on this handset is at 2600 mAh which is the same battery was present in Galaxy J3 (2016). It measures 142.2 x 71.3 x 8 mm of dimensions and 138 grams. The smartphone will be available in Grey and Gold color options. It may launch the device around June 18 and would be available in China later this month. The company also revealed the another Samsung Galaxy handset with the model number SM-J3110.
