This week has turned out to be very good for the users of Samsung’s full metal Galaxy A devices. Recently it was the Galaxy A7 that had received the Lollipop update and now it is the Galaxy A5 that is receiving it.
The first Galaxy A smartphone to receive the Lollipop update was the Galaxy A3 and today finally the update is available for all the three models in the A lineup in one country at least.
Yes the Lollipop update for the Galaxy A5 has only been rolled out in Poland and it comes with the build number A500FUXXU1BOE6. Users should expect the same changelog as the OTA for the Galaxy A7 and A3 which mean increased performance, lockscreen notifications, refreshed users interface and much more.
Users can easily get the update through Samsung Kies or through a firmware database. You can also go to Settings and then to About Device and from there to Software updates menu.
