Anonymous tipster says the Galaxy Note 3 will feature the largest battery Samsung has ever put in a phone.
The folks at PhoneArena have apparently received word that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will feature a whopping 3450mAh battery — an 11% capacity increase over the 3100mAh battery found in the Note 2. As for their source, it appears to have come from a person who got a first-hand look at the engineering sample of the device, so we’re taking this with a grain of salt for now. With the phablet expected to be announced on September 4th during Samsung’s upcoming Unpacked: Episode 2 event, it won’t be long before we find out if this rumor holds up.
Until then, what do you think? 3450mAh sounds pretty tempting, right? Sound off in the Disqus thread and share your thoughts.
