The Android platform boasts of millions of apps available for download from the Google Play Store. This allows Android smartphone owners to have a wide variety of apps to choose from to customize their devices such as the #Samsung Galaxy #Note4.
Ideally, all of the apps should work well on the phone as long as the requirements are met. There are however instances when the app does not work as it is supposed to. This is what we will tackle in this latest installment of our troubleshooting series as we deal with the Galaxy Note 4 app crashes issue & other related problems.

Problem:Android wear crashes repeatedly, diminished battery life, slow response time on all apps, numerous duplicate contacts generated for some contacts. Appears to be a LinkedIn problem but do not know how to solve.
Solution: Several phone owners have been experiencing this issue where the Android wear app on their device crashes. The problem appears to be caused by some conflict in the app software. To resolve this issue make sure that you are using the latest version of the app. If in doubt if you have the latest version you should go to the app manager then clear the cache and data of the Android wear app before uninstalling it.
Once the app is uninstalled access your Google Play Store account then download and install the Android wear app.
You should also make sure that your phone is running on the latest software version. You can check on this manually by going to Settings > About > System Updates.
Some device owners who are also experiencing this same issue say that they have resolved this problem by removing their Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync account from the phone. If you have this account type in your phone then I suggest you try to remove it.
Note 4 S Health Not Working Display Turns Black
Problem:My S health stop working everything on that apps is not working..my screen always turns black when taking pictures or even doing nothing.. if I have incoming calls why the screen is blinking to black? Can’t see who’s calling me.Hope u can help me with these problems..thanks!
Solution: Since your phone is experiencing multiple issues I suggest you perform a factory reset. This reverts your phone back to its original factory condition. Make sure to backup your data before doing this procedure since it will be deleted in the process.
Note 4 Not Opening PDF File After Software Update
Problem:Trying to open pdf files on my phone . Since it was updated they will not open . says invalid file if I download the file it says it is empty
Solution: It looks like your phone has two separate issues. First, it can’t open PDF files. Second, when you download a PDF file it says empty. Do you recall which app your phone was using to open the PDF file? Try to check if that app is still in your phone. Usually if you can’t open a PDF file the problem is that your phone does not have the right app to open the file.
I suggest you turn off your phone then wipe its cache partition from the recovery mode first then see if your phone can now open a PDF file.
If the problem still persists then I suggest you go to the Google Play Store and download an app that can read PDF files.
Regarding the second issue of your phone not able to download the PDF file which it reports as empty try to double check on this again by downloading a PDF file from several sources. The problem may be caused by the host website where you are getting the file. If the same issue occurs even when trying to download the file from different sources then I suggest you backup your phone data and do a factory reset as this may already be a glitch in your phone software.
Note 4 Music App Stops Playing
Problem: From time to time music stops playing and I have only two options: warrior for a long tone 30-60 minutes or reboot the phone. It does not matter what player to use: native Samsung Music or any other player, the problem will be the same.
Solution: If this problem occur with whatever music player you use then this may be a software related problem. Make sure your phone is running on the latest software update. Try to wipe the cache partition of your phone first then check if the issue still occurs.
If it does then check if this problem is caused by na app you downloaded by starting your phone on Safe Mode. I this mode only the pre-installed apps will be running while apps you downloaded are disabled. Open the stock music app then check if the issue still occurs. If it doesn’t then the problem is most likely caused by an app. Find out what app this is and uninstall it.
You should also consider the storage medium used to store the music files as a potential source of the problem.If you use a microSD card then try to copy some of your songs to the internal storage space of your phone. Take out the microSD card then play the songs saved in the internal storage space. If the issue does not occur then the problem may be with the microSD card. I suggest you replace this with a new one.
One final troubleshooting step that you should consider doing if the above troubleshooting steps fail is a factory reset. Just make sure to backup your phone data first before doing this procedure.
