Problem:Error Camera not working and lock screen frozen and i have to use a link to message then use back arrow to get to others apps.
Solution: The error you get when trying to use the phone camera is most likely caused by some form of corrupt data. Try clearing the cache and data of the camera app first and see if this resolves the problem.
You should also check if an app you downloaded is causing a conflict with the camera app.To do this you just need to start your phone in Safe Mode. In this mode only the pre-installed apps are allowed to run while apps you downloaded are disabled. If you don’t encounter any issues when using your camera in this mode then the problem is most likely caused by an app you downloaded. Find out what app this is and uninstall it.
If the problem still occurs even in Safe Mode then restart your phone and access the recovery mode. From here you need to wipe the cache partition of your phone. Check if the problem still persists. If it does then you will have to backup your phone data and do a factory reset. This reset will also help resolve the lock screen frozen issue of your phone.
Note 4 Camera Auto-Focus Not Working In Low Light
Problem:I have problem with camera that the autofocus doesn’t work correctly in low light. And sometimes when i take photos in low light while flash in auto mode. After the camera flashing, the screen goes to black and the device becomes hotter and can not use it except when i remove the battery and turn it on again… Why do these issues in the camera and how to fix?
Solution: Sometimes when the light is just too low the phone will have a difficult time focusing. However, if you notice that the issue occurs even if there a sufficient lighting then you should try checking if the issue occurs when using the different camera modes. Auto is a good mode to start using as the camera will automatically decide the best settings to use in low light conditions. When in Auto mode you should try taking a photo with HDR enabled and disabled and check which one produces the best result.
Another factor that may interfere with the focusing feature of your phone is the presence of smudge or dirt on the lens of your camera. This usually gets to the camera lens if you touch it or if it comes in contact with some object. Inspect your camera lens and make sure that it is clear. If necessary, use a microfiber cloth or lens paper to clean your camera lens. In some cases the protective film covering the lens has not been removed yet which in turn causes the phone to have problems focusing. Check if this is the case.
You should also not discount the possibility that the phone software is causing this problem. Try clearing the cache and data of the camera app and see if the problem gets resolved.
You should also check if a third party app you downloaded is causing this problem by starting the phone in Safe Mode. If your camera focuses normally in this mode then the problem is most likely caused by an app. Find out what app this is and uninstall it.
If however the same issue exists in Safe Mode then you should start your phone in recovery mode then wipe its cache partition. If the problem persists then backup your phone data then do a factory reset. This reset will also help resolve the other issues you are having with your device.
If the issue remains unresolved after the factory reset then I suggest you have your phone examined at an authorized service center.
Note 4 Colored Dots Appearing In Camera Photos
Problem:Camera on my Note 4.. When taking pictures I get a green, yellow, orange or red dots in all my pictures. The only way I can get rid of these colored dots are to hold the phone/camera to blend in with something with the same color. Example, doing a sunset picture, I hide the dot in the sun. When it works. I have this issue a lot. Any help? I’ve tried hdr & other settings but it doesn’t seem to matter, I keep getting those dots.
Solution: This may already be a hardware related problem. Try to check first if this is a software issue by backing up your phone data then doing a factory reset.
After the reset take a couple of photos and check if the issue still occurs. If it does then this may already be caused by a problem with the phone camera sensor or the whole camera assembly itself. I suggest you bring your phone to an authorized service center and have it checked.
Note 4 Camera Takes Only 2 Second Videos
Problem: I use the stock camera app. And when I go to take a video it only takes a 2 second video then automatically stops recording. I press the video icon again and again only 2 seconds. I have restarted my phone which temporarily solves the issue. And I have done a soft restart. Which again solves the issue for a little bit. I have a 6 month old daughter and when I try to capture a moment it just sucks not knowing if the video will work or not. I don’t want to have to restart the phone and just hope my daughter is still doing whatever awesome thing she is doing. Please help
Solution: Try checking the storage capacity of your phone first. If it is too low then free up some space. Do this for your phone internal storage and microSD card.
You mentioned that if you restart your device the problem goes away. This could indicate that the problem is caused by some form of corrupt data or a third party app is interfering with the video recording capability of the stock camera app.
Try clearing the cache and data of the camera app first and see if this fixes the problem.
If it doesn’t then proceed with checking if an app you installed is causing the problem. To do this you need to start your phone in Safe Mode. Once in Safe Mode try to record a video. If you can now record a long video then the problem is most likely caused by an app you installed in your phone. Find out what app this is and uninstall it.
If you still experience the same issue even when your phone is in Safe Mode then proceed with wiping the cache partition of your phone from Safe Mode.
If the problem persists then one last option you should consider is to do a factory reset. Just make sure to backup your phone data before doing this procedure.
Note 4 Not for image quality testing Ok for functionality test Error
Problem:i have a problem in accessing the camera (Not for image quality testing Ok for functionality test ) message is shown when i try to access this app how can i solve this problem
Solution: I suggest you clear the cache and data of the camera app first then check if the problem still occurs. If it does then backup your phone data and do a factory reset.
If the factory reset fails to resolve the problem then your phone may have a problem with its software. Check the software version. You may need to reflash your phone software with the correct software version.
If your phone is using the correct software then the problem may be with the camera module of your phone. I suggest you bring your phone to an authorized service center and have it checked.
