The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will apparently be getting a release date on August 2 — the same day it launches. Over the past few months we’ve seen hundreds of leaks about the handset, leaks that revealed its specs, its hardware and its key USPs. We’ve also seen a fair few images of the handset.
But today’s leak is just about the clearest and most detailed look we’ve had at the Galaxy Note 7 thus far. The collection of images come via TechTastic and show the Galaxy Note 7 from a bunch of angles, revealing key aspects of its design language and effectively ruining Samsung’s big reveal on August 2.
Check out the leaked Samsung Galaxy Note 7 images below:
Unlike other leaks, which just show off certain specs or attributes, this one actually confirms many of the Galaxy Note 7’s specs and hardware via two screenshots taken from inside the phone’s settings menu, which you can see below:
Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Specs CONFIRMED?
So what are we looking at here? According to the screenshots, the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will include the following specs:
2K AMOLED Display
4GB of RAM — odd, when previous rumours have suggested 7GB
64GB of storage — odd, again, when other rumours have pointed to a 256GB model
Octa-Core CPU (64bit)
Now, these specs might seen a little underwhelming after ALL the leaks we’ve seen in the past few months about the handset’s insane specs. However, ALL of this is worth taking with a pinch of salt — there is no way to vouch for the authenticity of these images or the specs of this alleged handset.
It’s just a bit of speculative fun. Nothing more, nothing less.
Samsung will unveil the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 on August 2 — so, next week, if you’re reading this right now. There’s been no mention of price as yet, but you can expect a tiered-approach to pricing with base models with lower storage options starting at around £499 or thereabouts.
