The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will go on sale the same day it is launched, according to reports. If true, this means the Galaxy Note 7 will be able to buy on August 2, 2016.
The news comes via a variety of sources, including GSM Arena, which reports that Samsung has samples of the Galaxy Note 7 ready to go from August 2.
Whether this will be a global affair remains to be seen; it could just mean the US of Samsung’s native Korea. Either way, punters around the globe will be very happy that they don’t have to wait to get their hands on the new Galaxy Note 7.
Samsung is apparently keen to use the Olympics, which kicks off on August 5, to its advantage so we can expect to see A LOT of Samsung advertising and product placement in and around the games.
This report is still very much in unofficial territory, of course, and we won’t know Samsung’s plans — officially-speaking — for the Galaxy Note 7 until it is unveiled on August 2. An early release does make sense, though, especially with the Olympics and Apple’s iPhone 7 just around the corner. Samsung will take any advantage it can get its hands on.
