Samsung Galaxy Note 8 has leaked again, and it seems that it might come with a larger display, dual camera, and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The new images of the upcoming flagship look strikingly realistic. The phone seems like an amalgam of the Galaxy Note 7 and the S8+.
Speaking of the specifications, the Galaxy Note 8 is expected to feature a huge 6.3-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED screen. Yes, it is going to be the same Infinity Display of the Galaxy S8 or S8+ and will also feature the same 18.5:9 aspect ratio.
Under the hood, you may find the Snapdragon 835 or the Exynos 8895 SoC. Both are currently present in different variants of the Galaxy S8 and S8+. However, some sources suggest that Samsung might use a newer and yet to be announced chipset in its Galaxy Note 8.
With 6 GB RAM gradually becoming a norm among high-end flagships, it is quite likely that the South Korean technology giant will use it in its upcoming flagship. Even the presence of 8 GB RAM won’t surprise us. The internal storage might be somewhere around 128 GB and 256 GB.
Coming to the optics, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 shall almost certainly have a dual camera setup at the back. However, we are yet to come across any details regarding it.
Connectivity-wise, the upcoming smartphone would rock 1 Gbps 4G LTE, VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. As per the leaked images, the Note 8 will still come with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner like the Galaxy S8 / S8+. However, the best part is that the successor of the Galaxy Note 7 will come with an explosion resistant battery.
