Samsung's Note 4 goes is now on sale and the Note Edge will now officially arrive in December, just in time for Christmas. Samsung Galaxy Note Edge price UK
It's good news that the Galaxy Note Edge will launch in the UK before Christmas but it will be one for those with fat wallets as it's extremely pricey. A while ago Clove had the device pegged at £650 but Carphone Warehouse will be selling it SIM-free at a whopping £749.
On contract you can pick it up for £129 one-off fee and £43.50 per month including unlimited texts, 600 minutes and 1GB of 4G data - detail are here. If you want it free then you'll have to pay £58.50 a month but you get unlimited texts and minutes, plus 10GB of data - detail here.
"The Galaxy Note Edge’s unique curved Edge screen provides quick access to frequently used apps, alerts and device functionality – even when the cover is closed – all with the swipe of a thumb. Users can also receive notifications directly on the Edge Screen while watching videos without disturbing their viewing," said Samsung.
The spec includes a 2.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB of RAM and 32- or 64GB of storage. The Note Edge has a 16Mp rear camera with Smart OIS and a whopping 3.7Mp front camera with a f1.9 lens and Wide Selfie mode.
Weighing in at 174g the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge measures 151.3x82.4x8.3mm.
Connectivity includes 4G LTE Cat 6, 802.11ac dual-band Wi-Fi with MIMO (and the Download Booster seen in the Samsung Galaxy S5), NFC, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 LE and an IR blaster.
A 3000mAh lithium-ion battery features fast charging, allowing the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge to go from zero- to 50 percent in 30 minutes.
