In the next few hours, Samsung will take the stage at its Unpacked event, prior to IFA, to make an announcement we all knew was coming: the Galaxy Note II.
We’ve been talking about this phone over the past few weeks — in fact, Keyan even posted a leaked set of specs yesterday. Today, we get official confirmation and it looks like just about everything held up.
Here’s what we now know:
5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display with a 1280×720 resolution
Android OS 4.1 Jelly Bean
1.6GHz quad-core processor
2GB of RAM
8MP camera and a 1.9MP front-facing camera
There’s the good news. The bad news is, we still don’t know when the Galaxy Note II will hit retail shelves, internationally or here in the States. Of course, it’s only a matter of time now before we do know, so you might want to stay tuned here throughout the day. As soon as we know, you’ll know.
So, there you have it folks. Is the Galaxy Note II all you hoped it would be? Will you be saving your schillings to scoop one of these bad boys up when you can? Hit up the comment thread and let us know.
